At Lausanne International Toastmasters Club, our Christmas party is a cherished tradition that brings our diverse members together to celebrate the season with laughter, joy, and community. This event is a highlight of the year, providing an opportunity to connect and share in the festive spirit.

The celebration typically starts with a potluck dinner, where members share dishes from their cultures, reflecting the international nature of our club. It’s a beautiful way to showcase our diverse backgrounds while enjoying delicious food and great company.

The real highlight is our Secret Santa gift exchange, with a fun twist. Each guest brings a wrapped gift, and our “Santa Claus” (a founding member in disguise) randomly calls out numbers. When it’s your turn, you can choose an unopened gift or “steal” one from someone else, turning the exchange into a playful game of strategy and surprise.

This year’s celebration, was held on December 11 at Maison de la Femme, it was a success, filled with good food, laughter, and holiday cheer.
